Chapter 2

Chapter two is all about email and how to use it. There were a lot of things that I did know about emails just by using them; however, there are a few things I did not know. There is some short text, email names and signatures.
The short text I knew some of them but not all of them. The short text of IAC,IMO,IAC I didn’t know. Being able to keep an email shorter with a standard that everyone knows is good. In an email I thought that emojis were only in text format. I was unaware that once it is typed it will change into the graphic. I will be looking at the etiquette website to learn more about the standards.
The difference in the lines in a standard email was foreign to me. I would always just use the to line and that is it. I never used the BCC line, nor did I know what it stood for. I will use it in the future in a professional setting. The CC line is good to add a lot of people if they are not the main person of interest. With the signatures in the email, I didn’t know the way they were supposed to be laid out. I always just used my name and phone. I never used it in a professional setting, however. I know the proper layout to send a professional email now.
